Flexible garden room addition to the rear of a family home in Crosshill.

The existing outbuildings were taken down, and the locally fired engineering brick re-cycled to form the kitchen background wall which links the house interior out to the back of the garden.

The single roof plane and varying internal floor level contain a series of spaces providing an airy kitchen, dining space and family room, all of which reach into the garden after peeling back the glazed panels.

The new addition attempts to sit quietly next to the original stone villa.
