DO : Artist Assistance : Toby Paterson : Ludic Motif at 190 Trongate

We've been doing a little bit of informal work with Toby in the run up for a new work which has come about as part of the Culture 2014, the arts programme running alongside the Commonwealth Games (the summer seems like a distant memory now!).

Private view is Friday 28th November, and the location is a fascinating building on Argyle Street, that has been closed to the public for a long time.  We spent a while with Toby there this week, its a cracker, with more images to share next week once the exhibition is open to the public.

DO : 20th Century Perspectives - City Spaces & Strings

Its been a privilege over the last few months to work with both the Scottish Ensemble and Toby Paterson, and a wonderful abandoned space on the western edge of Glasgow's city centre - located in Richard Seifert's masterpiece that once was the Anderston Centre.  Here is pre-construction drawing of the scheme in all its aspirational glory.

We have been assisting Scottish Ensemble in developing their plans to stage the performances and allow public access to a disused space for this special event, and here are a few shots of some nice moments during our install phase

We've seen some of Toby's work as it has arrived, we are so excited to see this project realised - come and join us tonight, or Saturday, by clicking here for more information / tickets etc.

Congratulations to Govan!

We are super chuffed to see Govan, where we have worked on a lot of projects over the past 7 years, being recognised by the 2014 Awards for Planning Excellence at Royal Town Planning Institute.

Winning the Silver Jubilee Cup is a great achievement by Central Govan Action Plan and Govan Cross Townscape Heritage Initiative.

We've completed a series of projects in the area, and we firmly believe that big changes are best to come incrementally.  We are delighted to see the confidence and aspiration of this locality increase.

Cafe 13 took on the space which we refurbished for Govan and Linthouse Parish Church - they provide freshly prepared, high quality meals, snacks and coffees for the community who live and work in the area.

The Portal installed a refreshing update to enhance their row of shopfronts in keeping with Govan's new Conservation Area status - this demonstrates that big changes can be delivered on small budgets.
